Black tea naturally contains tea polyphenols and caffeine. When brewed without added sugar, it can be an enjoyable part of a balanced lifestyle and an alternative to heavily sweetened beverages.

For a Bold Black Cup

Add approximately 1 teaspoon of tea to 180–200 ml freshly boiled water. Steep for 3–4 minutes, strain and enjoy. Add lemon or sweetener if desired.

For Traditional Milk Chai

Add approximately 1 teaspoon of tea per cup to simmering water. Brew for around 2 minutes, add milk and sweetener as preferred, then simmer for another 1–2 minutes. Strain and serve hot.

For a stronger cup, use slightly more tea instead of excessively over-boiling it.

No added artificial colour, artificial flavour or preservatives. Milk, sugar and spices may be added according to personal preference.

Tea readily absorbs moisture and surrounding aromas. Store it in its tightly closed jar in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, steam and strongly scented foods. Always use a clean, dry spoon.
